The Couple
Andrew and Manya are such a stunning couple. Andrew spoke in awe of Manya in his speech and you can really see how full of admiration he is for her. After the day was done, we’d have to agree. Bearing this in mind, we decided to edit their wedding film to show a big part of this and convey the story of his love for her. It’s no denying that Manya is an exceptionally beautiful bride, so the footage we obtained on the day was truly awesome and managed to reflect this incredibly well within the wedding videography.
The Story
Andrew & Manya first crossed paths due to cheeky old ‘Tinderella’. Who would have thought a few years later they would be getting married! It was so special to see their families together, with many of Manya’s family having travelled from Delhi, India to be there. Their brief for the wedding videography to us was simple, to be warm, loving and to encompass the beauty of their New Zealand wedding. They later had a traditional Indian wedding too - we would have loved to have film that one! Wishing you every happiness - it was a pleasure.
The Place
The wedding day itself was relaxed, warm and loving, and the wedding ceremony at infamous Wanaka Wedding venue, The Rippon Hall, was as beautiful as always - despite the torrential rain that hammered the South Island during December! In fact, the dramatic weather made for a more spectacular wedding videography. The Rippon Hall looks out over Rippon’s vines, Lake Wanaka, Ruby Island, and beyond the Southern Alps. A perfect location and one of our favourite spots for filming a beautiful New Zealand wedding video, it always feels private, yet so open.
